I will confess that I had a couple bad cafe con leches and average Cuban sandwiches back in Miami. So for mr to say that Mamacita's made it on the best cafe con leche and Cuban Sandwiches you'll ever have is not an understatement. Be sure to get that quesadilla (not the Mexican one, the Salvadorian one) to pair with that cafe con leche. You have earned my respect.Will definitely be back! ”
“ I moved to Iow City in August and this has to be, hands down, my favorite place in the city. Jackie is literally the sweetest ever, and the rest of the staff are also so nice and welcoming. I always get an iced dulce de leche with one shot of espresso and a pastelito (the cream cheese and apple ones are both to die for). The sandwiches are amazing too. I’ll usually end out a stressful week by treating myself to a trip to Mamitas, and any time I have a friend from out of town over, I bring them here first. So blessed to live in walking distance from here. Literally can’t sing their praises enough!! ”
